I have been working on this project for more than 9 months. Since I started The Blade5 has gone through dozens of iterations and brutal crash testing in Bandos and against concrete walls and I can honestly say this is one of the strongest, most durable frames I’ve ever flown.

The Blade5 is engineered around a clean, compact 5" platform that balances agility, precision, and real world durability. Every choice from arm width to plate thickness to the arm lock geometry was driven by field testing and pilot feedback. Whether you’re chasing flow lines, Bandos, SBang tricks, or tight proximity, the Blade5 delivers a locked in feel with minimal resonance and exceptional crash resilience.
Developed by a pilot, for pilots, the Blade5 invites both new and experienced flyers to push their limits with confidence.
 
Nine Months of Iteration — One Frame That Gets It Right
I took inspiration from the top frames on the market and distilled the best features into a single, cohesive design. Strength was the priority, but weight and handling were never sacrificed. The Blade5 underwent repeated refinement to tune stiffness, eliminate flex, and reinforce critical impact zones. The arm layout and size keep weight low while delivering maximum structural integrity.
The result: a frame that feels stiff and precise in the air, survives the hits that matter, and keeps flying run after run.
 
Unique Interlocking Arm System
A defining innovation of the Blade5 is its interlocking arm design arms slot together and preload against each other to form a self reinforcing, zero flex structure. That means cleaner camera footage, sharper stick response, and far less frame movement under load. When repairs are needed, arm replacement is simple: remove two screws, slide in a new arm, and you’re back in the air within minutes.

High quality aluminum camera cage for maximum front end protection and minimal vibration with tpu inserts.
GoPro mounts on the cage standoffs — eliminates ripped TPU camera mounts and keeps your action cam secure.
Top plate XT60 passthrough slot for tidy wiring and strain relief.
Clever ELRS antenna mounting — between the mid and bottom plate, the two internal braces feature a perfectly sized hole designed to hold your ELRS antenna securely. This protected placement keeps it safe during crashes and saves you from constantly replacing antennas after impacts.
Toilet-tank (sideways) battery support for optimized balance and choice of mounting styles.
Easy stack access — remove the top plate and rotate the action camera mount to reach electronics without removing the whole assembly.
Includes all 3D prints you need: arm protection, antenna mount, camera plates ready to finish the build at first install.
