About TPU 90A / TPU 95A
“A” denotes the Shore A hardness scale, a standard unit for measuring material hardness specifically designed for softer elastic materials (such as rubber, TPU, etc.).
The numbers (90, 95) indicate the hardness value, with higher numbers denoting greater material hardness.
- TPU 90A offers relatively softer material with superior elasticity, making it suitable for applications requiring high flexibility (e.g., phone cases, shoe soles).
- TPU 95A features relatively harder material with slightly reduced elasticity, ideal for applications needing moderate hardness while maintaining flexibility (e.g., tool handles, seals, tires).
